ReInvent, ReUse, ReCycle
Raising environmental awareness through art!
April 17th, 2018 the, Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) hosted the ReInvent, ReUse, ReCycle Art Show with the help of other Sociology Department from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Miron Student Center (MSC). The ReInvent, ReUse, ReCycle Art Show seeks to raise awareness and quip students with information concerning environmental sustainability. Over 40 pieces of art were displayed in the MSC with one commonality, recycled, reused, reinvented into new purposes. The utilization of recycled materials for the art show is to promotes resourcefulness and creativity by turning trash into treasure. This event was not limited to Art Majors so I decided to make a art piece to represent Global Business Majors. I reused a old coffee table found on the street, cleaned it and used recycled backwood wrappers under the glass of the table. Picture on the upper right hand Sign is Michael Huber showing off his art!
